Since 2006, CMS have been in engaged in various projects for Orica Chemnet’s Mount Maunganui site. These include:

• Alkali Make Tank & plant installation
• Acid Make Tank & plant installation
• Acid Tank Farm installation
• Alkali Tank Farm installation
• Acid & Alkali downpacking installation
• Removal & Demolition of old Acid & Alkali Tank systems
• Sodium Hypochloride plant installation
• Site cooling tower and piping installation
• Tanker loading gantry fall protection project
• ADP plant upgrade
• Various Stormwater development projects

The role we have played in these projects has included:

• Assist in design and detailing
• Project supervision
• Chemical storage tank fabrication & installation
• SS chemical and process piping
• UPVC piping installation
• Structural steel fabrication & installation
• Hydrotesting of pipelines

= Outcome

CMS were given the Orica Construction Safety Award in 2011 for 32,500 man-hours with no LTI's
