Waitara Water Treatment Plant

CMS are pleased to be been awarded in conjuction with Whittaker Civil Engineering, the contract for Plant Conversion of Waitara Waste Water Treatment Plant with New Plymouth District Council. This conversion includes temporary isolation of the wetwell and diversion of flows; construction of new valve chambers; modification of and connection to existing underground pipework; modification of the existing pump wet well; provision of an aeration system in the existing storage tanks; alteration of the existing access way to the attenuation tanks; demolition and removal of redundant plant and equipment and demolition of the existing metering building. Work will commence end of April, early May and look to be completed end of August 2014.
