+ Overview
Assist with the overhaul of the G1 turbine generator machine. We were involved from the start of the strip down to the end of the rebuild. Tasks included removal and disassembly of the unit and connected equipment, install and centralising the runner and rotor, main bearings, clearance on the wicket gates and all attached equipment.
= Outcome
The unit was successfully overhauled and commissioned within the timeframes required.
